Role Overview -: Austin Hughes has an established distribution channel business in the German market based on its renowned range of CyberView® LCD Drawer and KVM Solutions, developing on from this the company has a requirement to employ a dedicated individual to specifically target promoting its new InfraSolution® access control and InfraPower® management solutions into the consulting sector with the aim to specify the AH brand and technologies, especially in the early stages of new projects evolving. The role will encompass managing our distribution channel and launching the new solutions into the channel whilst growing our day to day distribution sales throughout Germany.

Key Tasks / objectives -:         

1. Target consultant sector to specify the AH brand and the new AH solutions
2. Engage larger end clients (project basis) directly promoting the AH brand and solutions
3. Provide practical hands on product demonstrations to end clients and channel partners
4. Continue to grow / develop existing distribution channel business
5. Target server enclosure manufacturers for potential OEM business

Skills required -:

1. Good working knowledge and experience of at least 5 years in the IT sector in Germany,  preferably physical layer or enclosure vendor based – IT channel experience is advantageous
2. Ability to work with minimum supervision, self-motivation skills and the desire to earn based on performance are key to this role
3. Strong presentation skills and a resilient character are also key to the role and its requirement to consistently cold call new opportunities
4. Strong educational background and electrical, mechanical engineering or telecommunication skills would be advantageous
